Instead of an enforcer, I would rather have them sign another "Dallas Drake" type player. Essentially, someone who hasn't won a cup and is winding down in the stages of their career but can provide that spark once the playoffs start. (Break open the UFA lists) I am against signing an enforcer if it resembles what we got out of Downey and May. May didn't even dress often, and he had a very minor enforcing role on the the team. I saw the threads on Zonopka and the other enforcers and they do seem more useful than what Downey and May provided.

So the Lakers repeated, and I'm stuck in Socal. . All the bandwagoning must stop. I really didn't want them to repeat. Game 7 was actually good to watch, because for a basketball game, it was very physical.

Flyers will be a tough team again next year if they can sign Hamhuis. I could easily see them winning the East again if they can solidify their goalie situation.

It generated chances in the second period. The 6-4 was a different story. They tried, but they couldn't do it this year. Props to Howie, great game young man.

I agree. I thought the Wings left it all on the ice. I saw them give a great effort tonight. The Sharks got the job done, that is all.

Boston winning would be cool. I don't care for the other teams much. I like Chara and Rask is just awesome.

I agree. The start of the season pretty much set the tone of the entire season. The Wings fought hard after the Olympic Break, but they ran out of steam.

We can't expect them to win every year. I am not too upset about the loss. It could be worse. Last year anyone?
