I watch a lot of the Kings hockey and I think JJ has potential. All I know is Kings fans are always downplaying his game. I mean if we could get Doughty that would be a whole other story. Doughty is playing up to his potential JJ is not. Just do not get Randy Jones from the Kings. If we think Lebda is bad, you have not experienced the Randy Jones Pompapalozza.

Go Wings Tonight. Beat LA! Hockeytown Ryan, that intro vid is sick. They play that before every home game this year? It is much better than the Kings intro video, where it looks like the players are coming out of some castle/dungeon.

Saturday's game is huge. I hope I get to see this one on TV. I'm in King's nation so I hope Miller/Fox go on the roadtrip.

@ Kylee I like it too because each Wings game is a tad more meaningful but I do not want to obsess about thinking about "oh my gosh what seed are the Wings in now?" I will save that for March. .

So I check the boxscore and see the Wings blew a 2 goal lead. Just awesome. I have already had a bad day and this is not making it any better.

I agree with your entire post. It is so true how one night we can look like the Red Wings and the next night we are getting clobbered by the Isles.

That may not be WHAT you are thinking but the majority of the board seems to be thinking it is mathematically impossible for the Wings to make the playoffs. I mean I would understand if we were like Edmonton status right now, but we are so close to being in 5th or 6th place.

So if the Kings win tonight this season is over for the Red Wings. Why don't the wings just forfeit all their games and rest up for next year?

Didn't Theodore play one of his best games against us tonight? It does not matter who owns who and what happens through out the game , but the only thing that matters is the team that gets the two points. I can say we dominated the Capitals in every aspect of the game tonight. Except for a few minutes late in the third. The Kings dominated us pretty much the entire game, except the last few minutes of the third. The team that plays better and loses does not get any consolation. Well, except in the Overtime and Shootout. On playing the kings, yes I think the Wings have to approach the games as a playoff game. IF they Wings play like they did against Chicago, I think they will win.

Last time I checked we beat the Kings the last time we played them.

Yeah and we can take two points from the Kings on Saturday? How would that make you feel. .

And lets face it 46 friggin shots and nothing to show for. WE did not capitalize on the shots. Imagine if the Caps rattled off 46 shots on Ozzy today. I think it would have been 6 goals on Ozzy. WE played Ovechkin really well , and the only thing I can say is the Wings just f***ed up the last 10 minutes of the game. Whether it was mental errors or Ozzy can not close his five hole that is the bottom line.

Still, those who are still in doubt in us making the playoffs I just LOL at you. So we sit like 5 points back of 5 in the West? By my count we have over 30 games left. Since when did the season end today? The team played well up until the last few minutes of the third period. Also, stop singling out individual players. This is a team sport and while Bert may have taken a bad penalty and Ozzy screwed up here and there means the team just didn't play well enough to get a W.

I hate the Capitals now too. Stupid Motherf***ers we need the points.
