I do not understand Ozzy. Last year in the playoffs he turned into a madman. Is he just bored with the regular season? Yeah, he is wilting on that bench, and I think we should start him against Minnesota. They are not the most offensively gifted team and he could ease his way back in. -

At this point I am willing to give Ozzy 2 or 3 games in a row to prove himself. Who said competition was a bad thing and I think Babs can play this to his advantage. We have two capable goalies and why not use them as a tandem? -
After the way they played yesterday there is no way this team will miss the playoffs. Yesterday was the first game the entire season that I have seen Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Lidstrom all play to their potential. If the star players start playing like they played yesterday we will be fine. We had the depth going nicely all year long and it will just boil down to our stars playing like they can.

I hate to say it, but prior to this season I was thinking Z and D were in the same class as the Big 3. I hate to say it but I think I was wrong. .

The "current" Duck team. Miller was not a Duck when we picked him up. Wasn't he a Lightning?

He just got back from an injury and broke his jaw. He seems pretty prone to me.

I honestly have no suggestions because Holland won't go out and do a blockbuster like deal. At least I do not think. I have to agree if we could get Selanne cheap it could be good, but it could also be moot. If we want a true goalscorer, like a Kovalchuck it would end up shaking up the team and I do not think Holland wants that.

Selanne is not the missing scorer IMO. Wings have enough older players and he is injury prone at this point in his career.

Stop bringing all the good news! Seriously everyone needs to chill about playoff positioning. We are one game in hand, and just a couple points back from like sixth in the Conference. -
Hell no, I want no part of the Ducks to be part of the Wings, not even Selanne. And, I consider the Wings to have a rivalry with the Ducks. It may not be a locational rivalry but the games are very heated and just look at the last few years in the playoffs.

He looks snakebitten in every single offensive aspect of the game. I see the effort, but really nothing to show for this year yet. I am hoping the Olympics can get him jump started.
