Interesting point brought up by the Avs announcers on the free center ice trial. They said how Dastyuk hasn't scored goals in a long time. No goals this year and one in the playoff run. He is having a hard time scoring but he is doing everything else correct. -
Hey look at the Penguins, last February they were on the verge of missing the playoffs. Who knows how the Wings will turn their season around.

Jimmy played well tonight. I guess he can play in the NHL. It was just everything else went wrong. Then again, you want to peak in April before the playoffs.

All runs have to come to an end. Yeah its early in the season but what is going to change? This could be the year that we miss the playoffs.

Our defense better be up to par next year or we are going nowhere. Assuming we can not get back Hudler(forget Sammy) Zetterberg Franzen and Datsyukl will need to carry the load offensively. Filpulla and Cleary also need to have the best seasons of their career.

So now we are a significantly worse team then last year. You can not replace talent like Hossa, I have a bad feeling about next year.

It really varies between round. For this round the lucks seems to be me chewing a piece of gum when the television broadcast of the game starts, then immeadiately spitting it out before the drop of the puck. When I have done this, see games 1 2 and 5 the wings have won. In games 3 and 4 I didn't chew gum at all. Its a wierd thing, hopefully it works tomorrow.

I make most of the Wings/Kings games when the Wings come into town. I could go to the Ducks game as well, but I choose to go to the easier, pretty much guranteed wins for my Wings. I'm gonna stick at home tomorrow though, i tend to soak in the SCF games alone with just a friend or two. For those who are going out have a wonderful time. GO WINGS!
