For a southern wings fan, could I get a pronunciation of Quebecois? Not very familar with the term and would be nice if I knew what the people of Quebec were called so I could enjoy the thread a little more.

This are the games that cause your blood pressure to go up. With that being said, I hate this feeling. I can feel my heartbeat in my neck on certain plays.

I just saw where Conner is out with a Broken hand and that sucks because he was just hitting his stride. I love when the Red Wings win, I love it more when they win in the division, and I especially love when they beat Nashville! LGW

I think with these young guys developing so quickly and at the same time plus having a large cap space. It's got all the ingredients for a trade at the deadline to strengthen our playoff chances. I'm not going to go into who goes where for what cause I don't have enough knowledge to be part of that argument. But its shaping up to have some of our prospects develop and be possibly be put up on the trading block and see if we can't find a replacement for Lids or something along those line. But agreed, this is a wonderful problem to have especially if they all stay healthy and perform well up to the trade deadline.

I'm with Konnan here. His first game or two, he looked a little sluggish and timid but I think now that he has hit his stride, he gives us great speed and a great scoring threat on the bottom line. At this point, sending him down would just be hampering his ability to develop and get more acclimated to the NHL game pace.

That's sad. He is a great player and he is going to miss this milestone. Hope he gets better soon.

I just don't see little Helmer having problems with the rule. However, he might have seen a few games for the hit in my avatar but it's Helmer. I hadn't gotten that excited in a long time when he nailed that guy from Phenoix.

This is not my belief buuuuuttttt people are saying that he left his feet during the followthrough, not the hit itself. Idk what that means but that's what people are saying.

This is the type of ruling that will eventually outlaw this type of hit out of the league. I'm not saying the ruling is right or wrong, but the nature of the hit is what is going to cause more suspensions and more problems with this type of hit going forward.

Wow! This is Miller's first game back and he took a run at home. Whether he was intending to harm him or not, that's ridiculous. If he doesn't get suspended, there is a serious problem in the NHL discipline office. Imagine if this was Crosby and he was on the board, got rid of the puck, and 2-3 seconds later, Totoo takes a run at him, Totoo is gone for at least 5 games. The NHL office did so well during the preseason but now, it's time for them to step up and set a precedence against this kind of stuff. I'm not saying what he did was malicious or anything. He didn't have the puck and to me, it looked like he changed his direction to go right into Miller. But I might just be making that up because I am such a Miller supporter. League needs to steps up and take action.

I feel like yesterday we were seeing him on the Top 10 every week. Now...I always hear about him letting in a lot of goals on few shots and most of the time they are weak goals. Sad to hear but I agree, his time seems to be up.

So is he considered a healthy scratch? I haven't seen enough of him to have an informed opinion so I'm not sure if Conner will be anything different than Brunnstrom.
