He did have a God awful season. I hope he comes out and just has a great season but only time will tell. I hope he performs well, better for the team. And when he does perform well.....that's would give us more leverage when we try to trade him at the deadline.

Good for him! He was great in the pre-season and from the repots I have heard/read he performed really well at camp. And for 600k you can't really complain. I just hope he earns his money and turns out to be a hell of steal for that price.

I heard through the rumor mill he has a birthmark on his left butt cheek that is shaped like Sweeden. Not sure on the validity of this statement. I know it's hard to stay "on topic" but I feel like when it deviates that much from the original post, it needs to get back. I have no problem with people voicing their political stances and such but as well as in real life, I think it needs to be done at the appropriate time.

If you missed here is the link. Quick Reminder Not only does everyone need to stay on topic but everyone also needs to get over the ignorance that English is the only language spoken in America. Each and every day this country grows more and more diverse. Different languages will be spoken, different names will pronounced different ways, and there is nothing you can do about it especially starting a grammar war on here. Let's just stay on topic. I think Nyquist has great speed and great stick work. I can't wait to see him getting full line minutes in the NHL but I think he has at least 1 more year in Grand Rapids but possibly 2. Either way, he is going to be a great asset to the organization. Watching him play is exciting and not also is he going to constantly reel in points, he is going to fill the seats of JLA (or the new one).

I feel like this is muttered way to often around here! Don't get me wrong, "In Kenny We Trust" but for some reason, I feel like there is going to come a time when Kenny "can't get it done". I hope we can get Kronners around 5 a year for 5-7 years but after some of the recent signings....I don't know.

I think Shanny is going to get a lot of criticism if he doesn't suspend him. People will remember he played at Detroit. He'll suspend him simply to prove a point and to avoid league wide criticism.

How many of Chicago's actual starters are actually playing? Cause if we are playing their AHL team, I am less impressed.

I have the NHL network in my sports package so I will get that anyway so I think I am gonna go with the Center Ice on my TV. I just wanted to make sure I could get all the Wings games plus other games.

I am looking at both too...being in the south, do you think I would experience as many black outs? I have an iMac so I am not worried about the quality I just want to make sure I can see all the games. What is the best choice to see all of the Wings games?

With everyone here, I think he sold it a little bit. I see the league looking at it and I think they suspend him for a few games (no more than 2-3 games) just to show the players that they are serious. I know they have already established they are serious but I think with it being Cooke and knowing his rep, they are going to suspend him or put out a video as a warning and explain why he wasn't suspended.

Any word on how Abbey looks?

It doesn't seem like Dats missed a step in the off season. Hopefully, that's a huge foreshadowing of many things to come. I'd like to see Kronwall put up #s like Lids did last year.
