This could just be my ignorance and lack of knowledge about the situation but it seems that Kenny has a lot of indecision this offseason. I am in no way saying Kenny is a bad GM, I believe he is one of the best. It just seems like with this whole backup situation and the D-man thing, there has been some indecision on his part that could have cost us with a backup or a top 4 d-man. Please enlighten me so I don't feel and sound so dumb anymore. Thanks LGW

If my memory serves me correct, Hudler filed for Arbitration and when the Wings' could give him what he wanted, he left and went to Russia. The KHL can't compete with the NHL but while he was over there in 09-10, he only put up 54 pts and the year before in the NHL, he put up 57. He comes back to the NHL and back to the Red Wings and doesn't crack 30pts. and barely cracks double digit goals. So to say he is undervalued here where is last "decent" season in the NHL was in 08 is a complete understatement. LGW values him, just not very much. He is a "floating" style IMO has caused some chemistry problems on the team. If they can't get him gone without a decent return and little to know hit on the cap, fine. If not, give him next year and then get rid of him unless he go out and put 60+ pts but if last season was a "foreshadowing" of his future NHL career, he doesn't need to be in the Winged Wheel.

Nicely played sir. I agree the Sharks are getting better but let's see how the team plays together. I think they were a contender and this coming up year are going to be a forced to reckon with.

Im with you. I think he would be a great addition to our PP and a solid 2nd or 3rd liner but if he doesn't sign with Detroit, I am not gonna lose any sleep. He can soak up all the minutes in Pitt when Crosby sneezes to hard and hits his head on the mirror and is sidelines for 5 more months. I think he'd be great the right price (cheap cheap cheap) but other than that, just get me to July 1st.
