+1 Lately, the team seems to show up when they want to and then work half assed when they do show up Jimmah(!) hasn't been the sole problem here folks. If he is letting in 1 awful goal a game and then standing on his head for the rest of the game, the forwards should be able to score at least 2. We can't expect him to pitch the SO every damn game! That's not how it works. If our forwards and defensemen would show up and play with a little more fundamentals instead of getting fancy, making dumb decisions, and turning the puck over (cough Ericsson cough) Jimmah(!) won't have to pitch a SO and letting in "1 awful goal" won't kill the team or require that every time he let's in one goal, we call for his head.

I don't think anyone was "impressed with the win" but we did get the two points like you said. I think the Wings need something to give them some confidence. Maybe this is that start of that "thing". Maybe they go into STL tomorrow and roll over them and realize that they can play better. Or....they go into STL tomorrow and get whipped and get back in the same ditch they dug themselves into. I think this game against STL tomorrow and the game against the streaking caps on Wednesday will tell you about what Wings' team we see the rest of the season as well as what we can look forward to or have nightmares about for the playoffs. Tonight was not a "quality win" like you said though, it's two points. We are having some major issues as of late but I think they just need a reminder of who they are and what type of hockey they can play.

Keep the faith my friend....keep the faith! We got a win under our belts no we go to St. Louis for a tough one. Maybe this will wake the Wings up and we can actually go on a teat before the playoffs and have some confidence going into it!

Wow! Kinda sad. I was shocked he got banned from here honestly. I know he was always letting some of us vent out on him when he went on his little rants. I can only imagine what he would be saying.....well, we already know.

It's kinda sad that we start losing and everyone on here just disappears. I think mindfly might have gotten to some members on the site....just a thought.
