Thanks for the GDT Ht! Always looks great! I think it's going to be interesting to see how McDonald does in the goal tonight. I am a little nervous but I think if he is on the same drugs the wings are on lately(figure of speech, please don't drug test the whole team), he will be great tonight. If the defense plays like they have the past 3 games...Wings 4( Dats, Cleary x2, and Homer) Panthers 1 (Weiss) If the defense plays like they did before the Boston series.... I have been contemplating buying another jersey. I am up in the the air between two obvious choices Dats and Cleary. But I am however contemplating an Abby jersey. What y'all think? Y'all think he is going to be around a long time?

Everyone got the hell out of Detroit and moved to other places but they know where their loyalties lie. I read an article one time (I'll try to find it) that said the Red Wings fan base is one of the best traveling fan bases of any professional or college team. I believe it came from SI but I'm not sure but it's so true. Every time you watch a game on TV or listen on the radio, you see Red in the audience and it's never just a patch, it's everywhere. When you listen and the Wings score, you can hear the Red Wings fans cheering. Last night was a ridculous example. They couldn't stop talking about the amount of Red in the crowd. That's one of my favorite parts about being a "wing-nut" is that almost any city you visit, you are going to find fellow Wing fans.

What about Jimmy tonight?!?! Besides those two goals that he really could do nothing about, he looks great! Yeah some of the shots have been easy saves but still, he has looked great and besides those two lapses of thought on the goals, our entire D has looked really good tonight.

I'm not sure who it was but whoever dove back and interupted the shot but it's nice to see that kind of hustle even though we are up 5-2

Like someone said before, Babs loves him. I think he sees the potential, he just isn't living up to it yet. I am all for strengthening our D but I think Salei has the potential to continue on this roster. Same thing goes with Kindl. I don't see either of them going anywhere anytime soon. As for the purpose of this forum, Kenny sits tight. Cap room to small, and s***, we aren't doing that bad people. We are 9 points our of first place with 2 games in hand. Yes the D has been looking shaky and we might just be turning it around but it's not like we are fighting for a playoff spot like our rivals in Chicago are.

Whoever Wins the West wins the President's Cup. The way Detroit and Vancouver are playing, there is no way someone from the East takes it. Wings are 7 points down, have 1 game in hand and don't have everyone healthy. That can very easily be overtaken and built upon. Our D steps up and the offense produces like it did against Boston, no way we don't take home ice all the way through. LGW

I think Kindl is NHL caliber he is just not getting the hang of it yet. It sucks that he is sucking it up so bad and turning the puck over but there has to come a point where he will get it eventually and if not, he'll get sent down or traded.
