They have a pretty cool set up going with everything. I think out of all the major sports, the NHL has the best weekend set up. Especially this year with the draft taking place. As much as I hate to say it, I think the NHL got this one right.....that is also saying before the skills and game, And Lids comes out to Detroit Rock City :thumbup:

They still have the rights to his contract for next season I believe. I also believe his has a no-move clause which doesn't allow him to be traded. I think that's right. If not, please let me know.

I don't think he is going to be in Detroit next year. I think the whole purpose of signing Navokov this year was to get him to help Jimmy. If he can't get him this year, I don't think he is going to get him next year.

How about instead of throwing out ludicrous ideas, scenarios, and possible outcomes, we all sit back and wait and see what happens. It is clear Nabby doesn't want to be with the Islanders. We all get that. By the end of this week, I can almost promise you that there will be some clearer direction in this whole thing. Until then, everyone should just take a chill pill, unwad their panties, and just wait. That's all we can do and that's what we are going to have 2 do regardless of throwing out scenarios that are obscure and ridiculous. I mean part of me wants to say that it's a great sports move and it's for the better of their teams. Wouldn't it be logical for the other NHL teams to look at this and realize that he doesn't want to play anywhere else but Hockeytown and realize that he won't play there and just let him come to Detroit! What a mess!
