His skill is missed no doubt. However, I think what he brings most to the team is leadership and work ethic. The combination of Pasha and Lids being out is what is killer. That lack of leadership along with the skill, is what is missed the most.

Going to be at this one with my girlfriend for her first ever Wings game and my second Wings game. Last time I was here to see the Wings play was the 8-0 whooping in 2009 and Stuart's broken jaw. Just win boys. Nashville's tough at home but we are better. Just need to show up for a full 60 minutes. I have faith! Let's Go Wings!!! Edit: Removed double post.

This team isn't the same without Lids and Dats. They just seem out of chemistry, no effort, it almost looks like they are struggling to find each other. They need to get everyone healthy again and pray they get the chemistry back or our season will be over sooner than most of us would like. I'm sure they'll pull it out. I have faith. Just really scared right now.

I'm not sure how this plays into it, but what about the Umbrella system? Isn't that the style that they play with. I think maybe the style that the Red Wings play isn't suitable for the umbrella PP. Now I have no idea what the Umbrella system is. I don't know if it's better or worse than any other style if there is another style. I'm just curious if y'all think this has something to do with it. -
At this point, is it bad to at least hope for overtime.
