It would be nice to see a massive move. I feel like we are kind of filling the voids and answering all the smaller questions before we address "a major concern". To add onto to this, the Detroit Free Press is reporting that the Wings are going to extend Tuzzi for 2 years. Could see a move in the next 2 or 3 days maybe? I love the trade deadline!!!! This is a blow to the way the Wings have been playing. I agree with some that this is a team sport however, Dats just opens the ice for everyone to move around him. I've heard Hank say that numerous times. He'll get back when he is ready and 100%. I think this team as a whole is strong, has been playing well as a unit, and will stand up and keep our position atop the West. As long as he is back before March 10th. I will be attending my 2nd ever NHL game in Nashville and if Pasha isn't there, it won't be the same. Get well soon! Let's go WINGS!

Gonna have to miss this one but confident the Wings can take 2 points from Chicago. On a side note, not really sure I like Howie in the goal for this one. I think for a team that's as hot as Chicago, bringing Jimmy back for a game like this might not be the best idea. I have the utmost confidence in Howie, just scares me a little knowing he is going to be in the net against a red hot Hawks team for his first game back. I like the "MACulate conception" and "oh the huMACity". I'm not sure if you made this up or if you got them from somewhere but these are great. I never thought there would be a day when we would argue about J-Mac over Howard but the day has come! J-Mac is playing great right now and is giving Jimmah(!) the rest he needs to heal. I'm sure he'll be a little rusty when he gets back into game speeds but he has been practicing and taking shots in practice!

Maybe...or they are trying to show him that they are committed to winning. By getting Gill, they are showing the commitment to winning Weber (or Suter I can't remember who said this) has talked about the organization not having. This is a big move for them. They are finally making some big moves and trying to become a constant power and a permanent pain in the ass for the Red Wings. I think this trade is going to wake up Holland going to make him think more about the deadline and the off season ahead.

Really feel the Wings come out playing here! I still feel like they have something to prove to someone. With Tartar being called up, this could not only be his chance to make is mark as a prospect but also could give us a piece to trade with as the deadline draws near. I'm not a big fan of making a move unless it makes 100% sense. I also don't know Tartar's trade value, but I have to think if he plays a few games up and plays them well, there is no way his prospect value couldn't rise.

Nash is on the market and there are several teams that are interested in him. Holland won't get into a bidding war and I don't think Holland will go near Nash unless he gets some sort of inside track and is told her has priority. Only then will he make an attempt to acquire Nash.

Would really be nice if Mule could keep scoring.

Mursak is a great player but its hard to argue against playing Emmerton. He has been playing really well these past few games.

I have a few things.... 1) Thanks for the GDT Hockeytown! Always looks nice. 2) I hope our PP shows up tonight. The coyotes give up the least about of penalties in the league so if we get them, we HAVE to capitalize. 3) Really proud of JoeyMac Saturday for stepping up and showing he can be a quality goalie. (not sure about the long run however) 4) I really don't want to see Ty go but I just feel like it's going to happen. 5) The picture of the Phenoix Arena (JoBing.com Arena) looks like it was taking before all the Red Wings fans got there. 6) Finally, LET'S GO WINGS!!!

The team should rally around Joey Mac here! He is playing out of his damn mind so far.
