I think that comparing him to Shanahan is a bit much, I doubt that if he makes it to the NHL that he will ever be more than an energy player, who can perhaps chip in with a few goals. Hasn't he said that he bases his style of play on Darcy Tucker (probably more to do with Darcy's tendencies towards agitating, as Callahan doesn't appear to have the goal-scoring ability)? Nonetheless, he's still a very exciting prospect.

I think that four games is excessive. Bradley had dropped/was dropping his gloves, Carcillo hasn't had any disciplinary problems before (bar putting up lots of PIMs), and he and his team were already punished by the penalties he got in the game. If the Walker-Ward incident didn't result in a suspension, why should this? Oh wait. It's the NHL. And I'm biased.

There is still plenty of time for Lidström to get going, and I can't say I'm too concerned about him. If his defensive play was shockingly below par, that would be worrying... People should ask for dictionaries for Christmas so that they can learn the difference between disinterested and uninterested.
