too little, too late that may be the story in regards to our chances of making the playoffs this year if these kinds of games continue kinda reminds me of the Calgary meltdown, only we did it in the 2nd period this time but really with all the turnover and injuries this year, what can we realistically expect?

wow didn't realize it's been 16 years, doesn't seem quite that long ago one of the best hockey games ever, had everything a hockey fan could want, esp. us Wings fans and the best part of all: revenge against that prick Lemieux also, it helped the team get over the hump mentally against the Avs and prepared them for the conference finals re-match -
well it wasn't pretty but we'll take it very impressed lately, but of course it's still a work in progress rest up guys, another big game on Thursday vs. the Murray-less Sharks

I'm not sure if that was him there, but I do remember the trip he put on Zetterberg in Game 7 in 2010 after Stuart scored late in the 2nd period to go up 4-1. Z was skating behind Bryzgalov's net after the goal was scored and Yandle intentionally stuck his stick out and Z went down. I'm sure he was pretty frustrated by then, but it was a gutless, classless play and I still wish someone would've clocked his ass. Yeah, that play still bothers me lol

ugh we've gone into 'defensive shell' mode never understood why you wouldn't just keep doing the things that got you the lead in the first place just letting them come at you with no counter attack is a crappy plan, esp. with just a 1-goal lead
