from everything I ever heard about Bowman he was great at playing head games and usually could get the best out of his players Babcock is too much of an Xs and Os type guy who doesn't 'feel' the game and when it's time to make a change, it seems to me anyway

that was a huge gaffe by all involved giving up that goal, probably the most embarrassing play I've seen in a long time, but this team is so fragile mentally that I doubt we would have won anyway we HAD to score the 1st goal and failed to do that for the 3rd time in 4 games

we looked more like a team built for the pre-season rather than a squad put together to challenge for the Cup I hope the complacency doesn't continue much longer, the whole team looks indifferent out there, like they're all in some sort of trance we had things going good after Game 2, now we're facing elimination and may win only 1 playoff game this year, pretty awful turn of events Nashville basically just waited for us to f*** up, and f*** up we sure did, that first goal they had waived off should have counted, so really it should have been even worse than it was

I don't think Babcock is a bad coach, but he should not be Detroit's coach any longer, he can't get through to his players anymore and the 2 green assistants haven't helped much; the problem is who can we find that's available that would do a better job?
