would be huge to get at least a point tonight, esp. with the way the Hawks-Blues game is going
-
yay! so we CAN convert a powerplay, oh wait never mind it had expired, but close enough
-
our goal on this pp is to not give one up, and maybe get a shot on goal perhaps baby steps, baby steps...
-
wow was that Murph actually stringing several coherent sentences together?
-
LOL
-
things seem bleak right now alright, but at least we're not sucking it up this bad at full strength
-
LOL Cleary has been... ineffective, let's say?
-
looking like we'll have to wait 'til next year again to try and win one in Philly....

sunuvabitch

that got painful to watch awfully fast, hope they re-group for the remainder
-
dagnabit, that was a bad one alright
-
b/c Conklin is subject to re-entry waivers
-
nice ceremony; now let's get it on!!

missed the game today, but in reading a few posts it seems Franzen was mostly invisible again in a big game where it would have been nice to see him step it up a notch; sometimes I wish Babcock would call his players out by name when they're doggin' it, he always keeps it real general and vague, always says, "Too many passengers tonight" instead of "Mule was a lazy s***-bag" or "Hudler was a complete waste of space out there" or even "Stuart with another costly turnover"
-
only problem is if both Nick and Stuart end up returning, we'll have a helluva log jam on D next year, but I guess that's a good problem to have haha Wild can't catch a break
-
geez guys don't forget to save some offense for Sunday only thing that would make this game even better was if Mursak scores, his fan club would go berserk
-
we are missing Pavs and Nick tonight, though tonight one can hardly tell
-
aahhh almost White
-
Smith(1st career goal), and Helmer
-
definitely, not much to complain about tonight
-
every single skater for the Wings is at least +1, looks strange in the box score
-
Hudler's been visiting the box a lot lately(that's what she said)
-
heh heh heh sounds like a plan

yes, Mule's playoff rep is the only reason I tolerate his regular season mediocrity, he could score 40 if he showed up every game and used his size to his advantage more, but since he does do that in the playoffs he gets a pass; Hossa on the other hand has not put up the playoff numbers to justify his contract, which is pretty much just as bad as Franzen's iirc
-
he's definitely better overall than Mule at least in the regular season, but only 5 goals in 29 playoff games for the Hawks
