I agree, we are leaving him out to dry for the most part. Plus our PP has been awful lately, we have 4PPG the last 10 games for a 12% efficiency rate, and then tonight everyone has been a pylon even with the 2-man advantage... not good enough

haven't posted in ages, but thought I'd add some #s for discussion: thru March 5th, we've given up 3 or more goals in 39 out of 66 games, or roughly 60% of the time, so there's a 3 in 5 chance we'll give up 3 or more goals each time we take the ice, also: record in games of 3 or more GA: 13-19-7 record in games of 2 or fewer GA: 26-0-1 A stark contrast to say the least Can't say if McCrimmon is to blame, and I doubt he's the only problem, but he sure doesn't seem to be part of the solution, the players need a shock to their system and replacing McCrimmon may help do that, though who know if and/or when that will happen

yeah they're morons, I bought CenterIce online and found out there are 10 Wings games on NHL network that I won't be able to see unless I ALSO buy the TV version, what a bunch of crap, it's like you're being punished for only buying the online version

man we are reeling, this team has no resiliency, no leadership, I can only hope when we get healthy we'll start to resemble an NHL caliber hockey club, 'cause right now we sure as hell don't this season seems like we're being forced to pay some sort of price for all the past successes we've had since '97, as if every break we got during that time has been visited back against us and then some, we have almost NO luck this year, with injuries, calls, bounces, etc. hell even if we do scrape into the playoffs as the 7th or 8th seed, SJ or Chi would crush us but still, with all that has gone wrong recently and this year as a whole, we still have SOME time to turn things around, but if we don't snap out of this horrible run it'll be too late I was also trying to think of the last time a team had as many consecutive deep runs into the playoffs that we've had, the only team I can think of is the Avs, I think they went to at least the Conf. finals in '99, '00, '01, and '02, winning the Cup once in '01; other than that, I don't think anyone else has gone that far that many times in a row

I do wish Leino had scored in the SO, would have helped his confidence, plus I hope we move Cleary down the SO list, whatever he's doing in practice to keep him that high in the order he's not doing when it counts, his attempts appear half-hearted
