But what astounds me as we sit with a penalty killing unit that's ranked 21st in the league along with goaltending percentage ranked 26 in the league ; making moves is sacreligious to shore up a team, and that's not even touching the lack of toughness; as Lilja has gone down. I have no choice but to play Devils advocate here!

Well I'm glad for you all that are so pleased with the outcome , a real mark of confidence it this formation. Sorry but I'll have to pass on your optimism for this years Cup run. I think what really pissed me even more is when I noticed the Sharks pulled the last minute swing deal with the Ducks and got Travis Moen and Kent Huskins ; that did it. I totally think that Holland's stategy is flawed with his penchant for signing too many players to longterm deals. It tied our hand when this was a year we could have really went to the wall for a second Cup. Anyways Ken holland if I could put you on waivers you would be gone!

We need more of this kind of thinking, too bad it will never happen. Holland will end up signing this guy for years its gonna be painful to watch.

I don't see where Kipper's not having a good year. I have to agree with Shadow 47 general sentiments. I won't be holding my breath this playoff run. To much longterm contracts for my taste, but that's the Holland way - we'll see?

He is not wrong at all , Holland has been known to add that last piece for the Cup Run in years gone by .Example Stuart last year. It wiil be a shame if he can't come up with the grit factor that we need at this point.
