Well frankly, Pekka Rinne happened. Slowly, but surely, Rinne has won the job. At the beginning of the year Ellis wasn't sucking so bad, but now, especially after the Detroit game where he let in six goals and the Dallas one where he let in four, he kinda blows. Rinne: 19-10-1, 2.21, .923, 5 SO Ellis: 11-18-3, 2.91, .899, 3 SO Pretty obvious who the better 'tender is, for whatever reason. Seems like Rinne gets better goal support, too...theory going around is Rinne plays harder and has more heart than Ellis. Seems to have much more emotion when he screws up or whatever. Anyway, Ellis is actually a great backup and decent goalie, but somehow hit the wall.

We may call someone up today if it happens that Erat can't go, look for Cal O'Reilly. 5. Being just 1 point out of 8th and it a Saturday night, look for a VERY loud arena. 6. Can't give you our lines today, they've been shuffled like mad lately with Bonk out and then maybe Erat, and Koistenen logged time at forward also. 7.
