LOL, glad to be back, I'm perpetually on our board, and spend alot of time lurking here close to Wings/Preds games and I'll probably post during the day and game and whatnot. But yeah, our styles are so different it presents matchup problems for you. We're very physical and grinding at times, whereas the Things are artsy, etc. Its too bad Toots and Belak don't have anyone to dance with for you guys. Should be a good game. Heck, the last game was great in periods 2 and 3, Rinne was spectacular. If we manage to make the playoffs, I want to play the Wings. Sharks and Flames tend to give us problems.

Few thoughts from the enemy here... 1. I think the boys will be much readier for this game than they were last week. 2. Having Bonk back is a bigger deal than you might think. 3. Trotzy is reinserting Ville "Epic Fail" Koistenen on a PP unit, replacing Sullivan there. Gak. Neither one is a good option. Though it hasn't been named, word is either Kevin Klein or Greg DeVries will be the healthy scratch for us. 4. Rinne likely in net, though some rumor had Ellis tonight since he brings his A game against DET, and Rinne tomorrow. We'll see. 5. In order to make the playoffs, Trotz is taking it in 3 game chunks. Gotta go 2-1 each time. So far so good. Win tonight, keep the pace. 6. David Legwand is absolutely on fire. Our projected lines with the return of Bonk: Dumont-Arnott-Sullivan Erat-Legwand-Jones Smithson-Bonk-Pihlstrom Belak-Fiddler-Tootoo Weber/Suter Hamhuis/Zanon Klein/Devries/Koistenen Rinne likely, slightly possible Ellis

Ah, well, good game guys. I thought we put forth a good effort and fought hard, especially Ward and Rinne, but, too little too late. I'm still satisfied with 5-2 since the all-star break. Ward's 2nd goal was a beauty wasn't it? Thanks for putting up with me tonight, this is an excellent board, even if you are all Dead Things Here's to the Cup!

Wouldn't recommend it. You're slightly outnumbered, and we tend to get slightly rowdy. Agghhhhh...these games give me cardiac arrest.
-
Hehe. *devilish grin* Joel. Ward.
-
I think the puck hit Weber's stick which redirected it into the net, but nonetheless good effort from Zetterberg.
-
Add to that Ward from Suter/Smithson I think.

Whooaaa baby! Its hockey again!

Few thoughts from a demoralized enemy here 1. Your power play is spectacular. 2. Our penalty kill used to be. 3. Marleau just tied it for San Jose, sorry... 4. It'd be about 6-0 if it weren't for Rinne, he's bailed us out big time. 5. The one or two chances we had were decent I think. 6. I heard you need goaltender help, how about Ellis for Zetterberg and Hossa? 7. For the love of all thats good, our crowd is always better than this. Especially against the Wings. 8. Back to the beer.

I didn't "get" it anywhere, I just follow the team very closely and the team report said the lines would be the same as against Dallas, and I had those memorized. Again, I would check other teams official boards/GDTs for that info.

For reference's sake, since your lines were posted, we line up: Erat-Legwand-Jones Dumont-Arnott-Sullivan Smithson-Bonk-Ward Hornqvist-Fiddler-Pihlstrom Weber/Suter Hamhuis/Zanon DeVries/Klein

Someone has perception problems...

Tootoo and Belak are game time decisions. Tootoo has a deep laceration that keeps him from holding his stick properly, not sure about Belak. To the thread starter, you have Rinne's stats wrong. His GAA is actually higher, and he has four shutouts, not two. And just a note on my presence here, I hope no one minds, and I promise not to be too disruptive. Just trying to dispel the stereotype that not all Predator fans are hockey-ignorant and stupid. In fact, most of us are articulate and know the game very well. Here's our GDT, just FWIW. http://boards.nashvillepredators.com/index...?showtopic=9246

I live in Nashville, and they stay in the Hilton hotel directly across from the arena. All teams opposing Nashville do.
