This is what i hate about this rule: What other sport allows game-changing calls based on ASSUMPTIONS! please wait to blow the whistle until you know its covered up, once you know its covered for sure then you "intend to blow" the god damn whistle

even in football when a play isnt reviewable the refs will discuss it between themselves sand make a decision to pick up the flag or call the penalty. the NHL needs to adopt this so somebody who was actually in good position to make the call couldve made the right call.

my only question is why cant the other refs who actually have a good view of the play overule the guy waving it off. like in football even if a play isnt reviewable the refs will still get together and pick up the flag if they saw it differently
