come on now, i dont think the wings would have any problem against the ducks. the sharks looked flat although they got a bit unlucky with some posts

completely agree, this should never be broadcasted nationally but i guess im not gonna complain too much

sharks dont have too much offensively right now, lotta shots but not too many quality ones. Personlly i would love to play anaheim in the second round(trying hard not to get ahead of myself) but that seems like its quite possible.

ok, im as big of an ozzie supporter that you will find, but if you try to act like hes been good all year well then youre just wrong. you can blame the defense all you want but osgood was flat-out bad at points during this season and really, you cant fault people for doubting him. It almost seems as if you were backing him up so that you could say "i told you so" to everyone who thought he sucked, but maybe thats just me. But yeah, ozzie definately kept us in the game during the first period, good sign for he rest of the playoffs.

also Hossa was an absolute beast tonight, i expect at least a goal from him game 2

wow, that was about as good as you couldve hoped for the first game. ozzie kept us in it during the 1st peiod and the wings were able to dominate when they were able to settle down, despite a couple defensive lapses i would call it a perfect game. The only bad part is having to wait till Saturday for game 2!!

if the ducks win and columbus loses we will play columbus, thats the best case scenario IMO so we can avoid all the travel. plus, the jackets are very inexperienced in playoffs. the blues have locked up 8th place since the ducks ahve 2 more wins
