how can i not blame goaltending? and what do you mean still? like this game was gonna convince me that its not bad goaltending? come on, no matter whos in goal they manage to let in at least 2 weak ones. and btw, ill blame whatever i want thank you very much

Green isnt as bad on the defensive side as some of you seem to think, he gets most of his goals on the power-play and yet his +/- is still around 25. I think a lot of people just see his huge offensive numbers and assume he's lacking on the defense, which he's not.

i've noticed that they've done this to a few games for the "game of the week", you'd think they would've just scheduled them for 12:30 from the start, but whatever.

Tim thomas is a UFA at the end of the year, as is Kari Lehtonen. Thats just two i can think of off the top of my head

i think he has like 2-3 masks, one for each jersey cuz the canucks use a few jersey designs. silly goalies and thier vanity

well for the most part he has been very solid, especially compared to ozzie. Ozzie just looks so out of sorts out on the ice lately that i have lost almost all confidence in him, at least short term. (this is coming from a life-long ozzie fan) So at this point, who else are we supposed to look at as the answer? and dont say better defense, turnovers happen occasionaly and you need your goalie to step up, ozzie hasnt done this. it kills me to say it though, ozzie is my favorite player

alright i've always been an ozzie supporter, but he just doies not look confident out there. He looks shaky on almost every save and sometimes just looks flat-out lost. Also the occasional errant play behind the net, as hard as it is for me to say this; its time to get conklin ready for the playoffs

ok, this is to the guy who posted the big list of goalies with better stats than ozzie. I look at that list and i see JS Giguere just 2-3 spots above ozzie. Is he done too? I definately dont think so. i just think goalies more than any other position in sports are streaky, and not just 10-15 games kind of streaky, i mean they can have bad seasons and yet bounce back. Turco was terrible for the most part for ths year, but is he done? Lets see what ozzie does for the rest of this season and then next year, then we'll talk about replacing him

he's worked great for my fantasy team also, i traded crosby for him and mike green at about mid-season. definately worked out pretty well for me

It's no coincidence that the fourth line finally starts scoring (at least a little) when he's in the lineup. He should never be scratched again IMHO

as long as the people who actually decide who wins the trophies dont care about tv ratings, or exciting play, then lidstrom will win it. He's just so good sometimes you dont even notice the stuff he does because its so effortless. I have faith in the NHL's trophy voting system although i dont know who its made up of
