Sportsnet: Hudler awarded 2 year deal 5m total; Still KHL bound

he scored 23 with 3rd line minutes last year, and as i mentioned earlier he hasnt even hit his prime yet. The NHL is a much different game from the 90's version. -
Sportsnet: Hudler awarded 2 year deal 5m total; Still KHL bound

YAY!! we just lost a 25 year old scorer who hasnt even reached his full potential! I just hate guys who will probably score 30+ goals. Goals be damned, hockey is about fighting... after all the teams who've won the cup the last two years have benn FULL of enforcers. -
Marc-Andre Fleury at number 4, what a joke
-
what do you mean finally? theyve been showing games every night for the past month or so

Though i dont usually like your overly sarcastic posts i completely agree with you on this one. We need a goal scorer, like i said in my first post Greir and Sykora would be perfect IMO.
-
Sykora would be great here, if he's able to stay healthy for the whole year he has the potential to score thirty goals. I would be absolutely thrilled if we got sykora and Grier, i just hope its not sykora and williams that would be awful. I'm starting to think its just a general rule around here to overreact and instantly hate every player the wings are interested in.

hes not gonna sign for 1million, its gonna at least be 2.5
-
you'd rather have a grinder than Mats Sundin?!? grinders can come from GR, Mats Sundin is one of the best players of this generation. Sure he had an off year by his standards but i think the fact that he joined more than halfway through the season had a lot to do with his troubles. He didnt have training camp and preseason to gel with his linemates, he was just tossed in there. Plus he had a very good postseason.
-
I think its very reasonable to say that flip could get 60 pts next season. He had a dreadful start to the season but with his second half + the playoffs he looked amazing. And how will he be playing with less talented players? He'll be centering the second line for the whole year (most likely) last year he was stuck on the 3rd line with Huds and Sammy.

really? he didnt allow games to be televised? Im not surprised that the fans abandoned them, who would want to go spend money on tickets to a team they've never seen? -
well with lidstrom and rafalski being gone it would free up aver 13mil. in cap space, if the prospects dont work out we will be able to sign some great d-men
-
get rid of two solid defensemen for one aging forward coming off one of the worst seasons of his career? and do you really want a lebda/meech pairing? sounds god awful
-
i really like the look of that lineup, that third line would be one of the best in the NHL
-
2.3 million for a guy who had 10 points?...no thanks
-
wow 7.5 is way too much for him, the guys good but he gets hurt too often. It could end up being a great move, or a really bad one
-
Hudler 100 pts? ridiculous.
-
my favorite moment was being at game 5 against the ducks, my first playoff game. the only badpart i was in line for the jon for the first two goals of the game... damn the joe and its terrible restroom lines!!!! :flamingmad:

andrej nestrasil, hmm never heard of him
-
im starting to think some people here were wrong about rajala, if he was so good he would be gone by now. i would be pissed if we pick him, lets see soem defense get picked up here
-
wow the islanders pick another 6'5 euro goalie
-
hmmm, i like our picks but im worried about size two guys under 180lbs. if we go for rajala later we could set a record for lightest draft class
-
landon ferraro, thank you for drafting outside of europe
-
dont they do an online stream at nhl.com?
