There is no reason for me to waste 2 hours watching a game that the outcome is already known.. How much pride can any player feel in playing such a game? The US and Canadian team members should be too embarrassed to take the podium for the medal ceremony it's such a sham. The whole Olympic thing is kinda ridiculous anymore. Table tennis? Volleyball? Nrxt how about a pie eating contest or maybe leapfrog?

Even if the Leino and rest were spot on we would still be in a s*** hole because Datsyuk and Zetterberg s*** the bed and the defense SUCKS.

Slump? This is no slump, this team appears to have no rudder. I am so disappointed in what is suppose to be the leadership of this team. Specifically Lidstrom, Datsyuk and Mr 12 year contract, Zetterberg. I'm not talking about Lidstrom's play, but his leadership. When questioned his response is always about what they did good. Never seems disgusted with what appears to be total lack of effort from the so called CORE of this team. Datsyuk seemed to finally get some chemistry going with Bert then Zetterberg comes back and what does Babcock do but put the invisible man on Datsyuk's wing to f*** it up. I am so dicgusted with Zetterberg and his mediocrity this season that I think the only thing that will put a fire under his ass is to embarrass him by making him watch a game or two from the pressbox. And I don't even want to talk about what I think of the coaching staff.........

Thanks for the info. I thought that would be the case but not sure. So I guess there isn't much chance of seeing him called up unless he is one of the black aces at playoff time. (I'm trying real heard to be optimistic)

LOL that should really help.. The only players on the team with worse +/- are Ericsson and Stuart who are both -19. Interesting that Babcock LIKED the team's play. Wonder if he will be as satisfied if the Canadian team turns in the same game. My, MY not even BRONZE.
