The Wings money players f***IN STINK! Not one of them can be counted on to push the Wings to a win when there is a need to win a big game. Lidstrom Datsyuk nor Zetterburg has the balls to demand better from themselves or the rest of the team......It's sad to say but the three of them together have less leadership than Yzerman...

Intensity seems to be a word the Wings are not too familiar with. Not one player on this team has either the determination or talent to carry this team as evidenced by the season they're having. When things are going well they all seem to be able to score but when they really need a goal to win an important game Lidstrom, Datsyuk or Zetterburg the core of this team sadly do not have it.

Bert took a while to get going but has been great. I would love for the Wings to retain him but if he continues his great play I don't think the Wings will be able to afford him... Eaves is just a joy to watch and his fight in the last game sealed the deal for me, gotta be a keeper. We need a younger May. Miller is kool, works his ass off. Would like to see him stay. It's been so long since I've seen Williams play can't really remember what he did???? I liked him when we signed him the first time but the year before we dumped him he got really soft in his play so I wasn't unhappy when he left.

I have a question. Why do players coming off long injury layoffs NOT go down to AHL anymore for conditioning???? I have noticed that Zetterburg seems to take several games to get up to speed when he comes off an injury......Does the players union no longer allow players to be sent down?

Yes Leino has been a huge disappointment. I think his early sucess last season went to his head and he thought it was going to be a cakewalk. He came into the season unprepared physically and mentally. Took a huge hit to his confidence and is having a very difficult time dealing with it. Hopefully he will learn from this and become a better player for it. If not there is always European Hockey.....

Ya know, in looking at that vid it's hard to believe that it was an "I'm gonna get even" conversation going on. The Ref's hand is resting in the middle of Burrows' back real friendly like.......I don't know anything at all about Burrows but in reading comments on other boards he seems to have a reputation for diving so maybe he deserved the dive call but the interference call in front of the net was bulls*** and typical of the incompetence of the of the officals and the league for not having higher standards......

Ozgood started the season just like last season, s***TY. I'm sure Babcock has those games in the back of his mind when he is contemplating who to play. The Wings are desperate for wins and Ozzie's so laid-back that maybe Babcock doesn't feel that he has the passion needed to win tight games.....
