I Keep thinking about the NHL players complaining about 5 hr flights to go to the left coast and wonder how they will handle the travel in the KLH. Mark Hardigan blogged about a trip his team made where they boarded the plane, was in the air 6 hours landed, refueled flew another 6 hrs, their flight was diverted to a different city because of bad weather and had to be bussed to their original destination, arrived 2hours before gametime and by the time they ate they had 45 minutes to nap before reporting to the rink. Sounds like FUN.

Most looking forward to watching an agressive, top notch penalty kill. It was so f***in bad last season I would leave the room when a penalty was called. Bunch a sissy players afraid to block a shot or pressure the puck. It was either leave the room or cuss like a sailor and want to throw something at the ******* TV.

I was very surprised that Babcock didn't put Ericsson with Lidstrom last season he certainly couldn't have played any worse than Rafalski. Hopefully Lids signs another 2 yr deal and can tuter these kids. If Ericsson, Kindl, Kolosov and Lashoff all pan out we will have a huge defence.

Babcocks reasoning for pairing him with Lidstrom for training camp obviously is try to help him with his positioning problems, hopefully is works out..

I guess it was Callahan, coulda sworn it said Lashoff earlier when I looked at it. Their special team play was just as bad as the big club last seasom
