I thought the same thing about the Lebda/ Quincey situation. Quincy played well for the Wings the prior year in the playoffs when the Wings needed him...Lebda at that time, I thought had more trade value because Quincey had such a bad training camp....I don't blame Hudler one bit if he tells the Wings to kiss his royal ASS....Holland has treated him like s*** from the get go.....Puts him on a top line for 2 stinking games and because he doesn't create instant offence dumps him back to s*** minutes........Bullheaded f***** sure as hell kissed Hossa's ass when he was squeezing his f***in stick so hard during the playoffs that he could't score s***.......

Unless the economy does a drastic turn around the CAP will probably drop the few million that Lidstrom's contract decreases..........

In conversations with my sister right after the Wings were eliminated I told her I hoped Hossa would sign somewhere elce because we would have to lose too many players to keep him...........I personally think he was trying too hard to score to justify his decision to sign with the Wings and consequently couldn't get anything done. I think he would have produced much better had we not been playing the Penguins......... I SOOooooooo want to see him sitting on the ice watching the WINGS celebrate kicking the Hawks ass in the playoffs next year..... Eat your heart out turd, (I didn't want him to stay but he's still a turd for leaving)..we did it before and we can do it again............

I can just picture him sitting on the ice watching Lidstrom get his picture taken with the campbell cup!!!!! And I can't picture Hossa ever wearing a Wings sweater as long as Ilitch owns the team. I think Ilitch really gets upset when players don't show the same loyalty that he feels towards his players.

There is a nice article about him on NHL .com that says, at the combine he "surprised everyone when he measured 5'10" and 163 lbs." Yzerman's rookie card has him at 5'11" and 170 lbs....

s***, if he wants 6M per, there is no way Holland can sign him..... They should trade his rights to a team he would like to sign with...

Remember listening to a lot of games on the radio before they came up with PASS.. I have very fond memories of PASS, NO commercials, between periods they interviewed players. Between PASS and channel 50 you could watch pretty much every single game, Wings, Tigers, Lions or Pistons and if you paid for the full year up front it was $89.00........ Saved my sanity while I was transferred to Toledo for 2 yrs during the 80s...........
