I believe Hudler will not be with us next year and if that happens, I certainly will miss him. I think the Wings may regret the decision to sign Flip and Franzen to such lucrative long term contracts and let hudler go elcewhere and become a really good 1st or 2nd line player....... Hudler, Hossa and Helm (the H line = hotdamn)would be a great 2nd line and we all know that Z should be with Dats and Homer...............

A 'DISCOUNT" means you play for less than you would make on the open market. Franzen, like Zetterberg will never play the full term of their contract. The first 7 years of Franzen's contract pays him 36M which is a little over 5M per year. That is not a discount it's working the loophole in the CBA........If you think he will play longer than that your dreaming..........

You could say the same thing about Zetterberg's contract........Where is the discount? Neither one will play the full length of their contract so there really wasn't much of a discount, if any......... I used to get pissed when Cindy got all the face time and Ovie was ignored because I felt that he was just as good, if not better but his stupid celebrations have completely turned me off and the coach whining about the negative reaction to it just makes him look like an ass..... When a coach feels the need to defend the conduct of one of his players, then it's time to step back and reassess the situation........Acting like an 8 year old that just scored his first goal everytime you score suggests there is a lot of room left for growing up.
