Great news! The way he went down and laid there in the fetal position made me cringe. He looked like he was in a tremendous amount of pain as he was being assisted off the ice. I was expecting far worse news.

We go twice a season. Once in October and once towards the end of March. Our anniversary is in August, so that's our present to each other. As soon as the schedule comes out we try to pick a really good game to go to. I told my hubby I would rather go to a game than get flowers or something like that. We also share a birthday, so the one in March is our birthday present to each other! The 8 1/2 hour car ride from Wisconsin to Detroit is a killer sometimes though!

Yes! "Happy human," "healthy human" and "logjam of humanity!" What the hell? Also, Joe Beninati drives me nuts! It's like he's got a list of adjectives sitting on the desk in front of him and he bet someone that he could get them all in by the end of the game! You can almost hear him crossing them off the list! Some of them don't even make any sense. Sometimes my hubby and I just look at each other like "huh?"

Seriously, how can you not love this guy? He's really developed into a great team player. He's got a great work ethic and attitude to match! I love his tell it like it is style too! It's so refreshing to hear an athlete not sugarcoat his true feelings. I'm so sick of the "it is what it is" cliche!
