This is just horrible and tragic news. I can't even begin to imagine losing a child. My sincerest condolences to the Theodore family.

Although I'm not overly thrilled with this signing, I'm gonna take the wait and see approach. I hope he can keep his work ethic up and stay healthy long enough to contribute.

Kenny never ceases to amaze me! Good signing for 500K. Even if Eaves turns out to be a bust, it's not like we threw a bucket full of money out the window. I also like the fact that there is still money on the table to sign another free agent (hopefully not Williams). Another great move by Holland!

Sammy had a tendency to get on every last nerve of mine quite often, but he did have a knack for scoring timely goals. Nobody seemed more surprised when he scored than he did! I most definitely will not miss him playing the point on the power play! I never understood that one. Best of luck to Sammy in his future endeavors!

I'm with ya on this one! I don't know why everybody jumped all over Ty last year. I thought he did just fine as Ozzie's backup. His little rough patch aside. He was a steal for what he was making. What makes me nervous too is who backs up Howard if Ozzie gets injured? Larsson or Pearce?

Oh, I like this! Philly is the perfect fit for him. Anaheim just went down a little on my hatred scale. And I mean a little. I can't wait to see what the league does when Pronger delivers an elbow to the head of the golden child Crosby.

As much as I love Cheli, the time has come to bid him a fair adieu. It would be nice if he could stay with the organization in some form or another. The guys really seem to respect and look up to him as a mentor. Good luck to him in whatever he decides to do in the future! Thanks for all you've done for this team! You truly are Captain America! I think it's easier said than done. I live in an area where hockey is not a real big deal. I can't tell you how many people in the last 2 days asked me "What happened to your Wings?"(snarky and sarcastic voice included). Not to mention a "friend" on FB just asked me that. The same person who less than a week ago asked where they could get cheap Wings merchandise. I hope the wagon didn't run you over as you fell off. Hell, the checkout at Menards saw my check and commented on it. Also, my Pens fan neighbor who was gone all weekend came home and within 5 minutes had his flag flying. Would it be wrong to sail some bottle rockets that way in hope of igniting it? LOL! It will definitely take some time, but life goes on. I will ALWAYS be proud to be a fan of this team!

You are not alone my friend! I hate Anaheim! Maybe I wouldn't feel this way if they were more concerned with playing the game of hockey than trying to goon it up. To me, they are so dirty and I must say it at least a half dozen times every time we play them!

I wondered if Draper had something going on with his neck. I noticed him wearing either a neck protector or a high necked compression shirt under his uniform.

Hats off to Ozzie! I'll admit I was a little concerned going into the playoffs, but when that man says he'll be ready, he isn't kidding! Ozzie was consistently our best player during this post season. I don't know how much more the Wings could have asked of him! He was great! Way to go Oz!

I think Crosby just got wrapped up in the moment. At least that's what I hope. Otherwise, that's just poor sportsmanship, win or lose. I thought it was worse that Good Ole Gary didn't congratulate or acknowledge Detroit on their season. For the commissioner of this league to so conveniently "forget" to do so is just bulls***! Thanks for the slap in the face.

Heartbroken, shocked and numb. I can't understand how you let a game of this magnitude just slip away! It's beyond me.

I am absolutely shocked and heart broken. I can't believe they waited sooo long to show up for this game! For gods sake, it's game 7! I just really don't know what else to say. I'm totally baffled! On a side note, did anyone else hear Gary congratulate Detroit on a great season? Cause I didn't hear it! Maybe it was all the booing drowning it out. My head hurts!
