Is it just me or since NBCSports began to televise college hockey has it always been a team(s) from ECAC, Hockey East, or Atlantic Hockey involved? I swear there is never a game involving a team from the Midwest or West.

I like having it for a quick fix here and there, but the same 3-4 playoff series games over and over again get boring. The Classic Series program is only on sparingly which makes it harder to watch. I also don't like a lot of the Day that Changed the Game programs as well as the Pioneers series. Also, what is with all of the replays of games involving Pittsburgh so much? Seems they always show the 2008 Winter Classic and the 2011 one from Heinz Field quite a bit more than usual.

Well when your team wins a national championship that year and he scores 180 pts in 60 games you kind of just sit back and enjoy the ride

I was born in Midland, MI and unfortunately no NHL guys from there, but an extension would certainly be the Detroit area guys. Once the family moved to the Chicago area, there was not any guys from the city we resided in, but then again all of the guys from around the Chicago area itself including Brett Lebda, Mike Brown, Al Montoya, Jared Boll, etc. I did however attend prep school at Shattuck St. Mary's in Minnesota and had the opportunity to go to school with Zach Parise, Sidney Crosby, Jack Johnson and Drew Stafford as well as having the chance to play on the same team with Crosby, Johnson and Stafford during my last year there.

I believe the author of the article hosted an online chat shortly after the list was completed and the comments came from a lot of people asking why the Hawks were lower than normal and he expressed his opinion about them and that the color inside the feathers as well as the detailed stitching was overshadowed by the main red in the home jersey. I would try to find the exact quote, but he did mention that the white one is top notch. Also, the chat expressed that the opinions and rankings were done soley by him without any outside help (if that means anything).

I actually went for a walk around the neighborhood for a good solid 30-40 mins after the game...did it for the safety of the neighbors in my apartment unit. Definately worked though since I got back and was able to concentrate on something else.

I'm with ya 100% on that...to many pieces of dead weight that get exposed to easily especially against a team that is bigger and tougher

I like this in the sense it may actually FORCE Holland to make some changes in the off season if they were to get bounced 3 years in a row by the same opponent
