he's also very good around the net. I've had the opportunity to watch him the last few seasons when he was playing with Chicago's AHL team and he always seemed to find a way to score a big goal when needed. I don't know though if he will fit into the Wings, but it would be cool to see him there.

I wasn't suggesting that every team in the NFL gets a primetime game, I was leaning on the fact that they try to include a larger pool of teams they put on the networks for those slots...Cowboys, Pats, Packers, Bears, Vikings, Chargers, Colts, Panthers, Saints, etc. They make an effort to include more teams to choose from than what the NHL does with having primarily the Pens, Rangers, Flyers and Bruins

if Versus was smart they would find a way to spread the wealth of what teams get shown and that way they can show more hockey to the whole country as opposed to the atlantic and northeast division and then throw Detroit in every 5 weeks or so...it just doesnt work that way. If you wanna increase the exposure, make it a priority to put every team on versus at some point in the year. I'm pretty sure that the NFL does this when it comes to primetime games? Don't they make sure every team does get a chance to play on MNF or Sunday Night? You do something like that for the NHL and it will help the exposure (even though it may be minor, but continue to do it) even more.

This is my first year having Center Ice and I am wondering if they will have playoff games, or if they will be blacked out? I'm at a school that does not believe in adding Versus to the cable lineup so I don't know if I will be shut out from watching the Wings games that are not on NBC. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I think Montreal is the most likely to be swept, but then again I think they will get one on their home ice. Other than that I don't see too many sweeps happening, possibly New Jersey, but with Brodeur I don't think that will happen. In a perfect world I would like to see Chicago get swept and have the damn media there shut up about how great they are and to piss off there fans.

anybody question why Babcock didnt use Franzen as the 4th shooter in the SO? I mean nothing against Cleary, but you have one of the hottest players since the playoffs last year sitting on the bench.
