Wrong. Hossa is 'one of ours' because he chose to come to Detroit. He signed a contract with the Detroit Red Wings. He did not choose to go to Pittsburgh, he was dealt there for the expiration of a contract he signed with the Ottawa Senators.

Not to mention that last year I managed to have a Cup Champs hat before Lidstrom was even presented the Cup. Same in 98 and 02. Damn NBC.

Of course they are. That's why there's no JoeVision-- because NBC wants their scratch. JoeVision is 10,000 peeps not watching at home, clockin' ratings and watching commercials. A shame. JoeVision for the clinchers is always awesome.

I like the Helm option. My most recent was an authentic white Hossa with the Stanley Cup patch. Last year I bought the authentic white Filppula. Helm will probably be next to add to my collection. I have to pick up a 1988 style Petr Klima, too.

They did in 2002 for the clincher for folks who couldn't get tickets to the Joe.

I like our chances. The key will be to score early. Getting that first goal and sustaining the pressure will be huge. If we can kill the buzz in the arena, and get in Pittsburgh's head, we should be in a good position.

My only thought is perhaps Reebok is doing like they do with the NFL for some things. They've started giving the teams in the Finals draft hats with the SCF logo on the side (like the NFL does at the Super Bowl) and the NFL debuts some of the next season's gear at the Super Bowl, but doesn't make it readily available until the following season's usual ship date for new merchandise. Perhaps these new coats are part of that 2009-10 line for Reebok. It would make sense, because I didn't see them in those during the regular season...
