I got the same thing so i sent an email.

I'm calling up the station now and giving them a piece of my mind.

I just woke up and remembered I was missing the game....i run to the living room and the "700" CLUB IS ON?!?! WTF!

Just because someone has a ticket doesn't mean they can still afford to go. Once you figure in parking/food/gas/whatever it can add up. You can buy a ticket way in advance yet find yourself broke come game day.

I've been real busy at school lately so I may have just missed it, but I don't remember a single wings game being on VS this year. I'm out of state so that's my only way to watch them (center-ice too much for broke college student.) Seems like every game this year I've had to listen via 97.1's internet stream.

Rock on. Have to check that out. It just seems like every time I come to this site to see what channel that day's game would be on it's always FSD and never VS. I must just be free to watch games on the wrong days. It seems like in previous years they were on VS all the time.

Going to be at the Joe for the april 9th wings/preds game. I have never been there before and it's been a long time since I have been to detroit so i don't have any knowledge of downtown. A few questions I have... What time does it start getting real crowded downtown and hard to find a parking space? Is the shuttle from the hockeytown cafe free and does it take forever to get a ride back from the game on it? How far away is it? Can you walk it? What I had thought of doing is going downtown pretty early and parking by hockeytown cafe, see what I can of comerica park and go back to hockeytown cafe and get some food and catch the shuttle.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm thinking I might go park by the RenCen and go the people mover route. I wanted to go to the top of the RenCen anyway on my trip. I think my 7 year old might get a kick out of the people-mover too. I was doing some checking and it looks like I might skip the hockeytown cafe and go eat at hard rock. Apparently it's on one of the stops and I can always use a new t-shirt.
