Ozzie playing well, no doubt. But Conklin's playoff numbers are the best.
-
The way the language is framed around these injuries, I think it's pretty likely we don't see Datsyuk until next round, and that means there might not be a next round.

Sensational comeback at their place. Real heart shown. I was very impressed.

Are Sodomites disabled somehow?

WCF GAME 3 GDT: Red Wings 3 at Blackhawks 4 (OT)

WITH Pavel, 4-2 Wings. WITHOUT Pavel, 4-2 Hawks. -
If Dats doesn't play, those who have been saying this kind of thing will have some 'splainin' to do.
-
I thought the Wings all drive Volvos. You should too.

We'll see. My hockey takes are based on pure observation, not historical fondness. Being a long-time follower of a team can result in encyclopedic knowlege, but cyclops-pedic viewpoint. Datsyuk changes the way the opponent has to play when he is in there. He's a constant threat on both sides of the puck. The Wings are not so much better than the Hawks that they can win without Datsyuk, Lidstrom, or Zetterberg. For the record, I have watched the Huskers play in 11 Stanley Cup 7th games. They are 6-5 in those games, and I picked them to win 7 of them. GBR!

No Datsyuk, no "W."

Not true. Your post fails.

I think the very latest is "healthy scratch." Let's see what Maltby does.

Look, we are spectators and comentators here. I like the Wings, but they do not add anything or take anything away from me. You need to step back. That being said, the Hawks are dead birds. Stick a fork in 'em.

WCF GAME 2 GDT: Blackhawks 2 at Red Wings 3 (OT)

Tonight is do or die for the Hawks. If we go into Chicago 2-0, turn out the lights . . . -
I seriously doubt Lilja plays throughout the playoffs.

The guy was being very careful to NOT SAY what he was thinking. For instance, when he was asked about what he thinks of Cleary, now that he is no longer with the Hawks, Q was thinking to say, "Look, the guy is lucky to be playing with so many starts that our scrub team was defending him," so insteaad he says, "We are happy with our team." Then, instead of saying, "We had the Wings on he run at the outset, and then just took the rest of the game off, he said the obligatory stuff about how good the Wings are. I think this guy is probably a great coach. Look what he has done, and how he stepped in. Frankly, he scares me a little, and I think he will have these Hawks very, very ready to compete. In fact, I think if we lose Tuesday's game, we could be in trouble in this series.

The "I Support Dan Cleary and Brad Stuart" Thread
Husker BigGuy replied to xBrave_Heartx's topic in General
Stuart made several good plays last night, but he did not handle Teemu Selanne well on tha latter's scoring play. He followed Selanne instead of defending the edge of the goal, and allowed him to stick the puck twice for a cheap goal. -
The pure hustle of Cleary, Helm, and Ericcson has been fun to watch.

I think we will blow these Ducks out in game 7. It's gonna look like the 1996 Fiesta Bowl.
-
It's only too bad that we had to beat the crap out of these guys just to win by one. I'm telling you, somebody needs to check the gambling involvement of these zebras.
-
And if I am right, will you kill yourself?
-
We did, but the official waived it off, so we have to beat them again.

I'd just like to know what we did to have so much open ice. It was night and day from the other three games. It's almost as if we had some kind of new strategy in place to clear through center ice. The Ducks were just not there in the numbers they were previously.

A couple of takes on the game tonight. 1. The Wings just have too many weapons for he Ducks. The line changes tonight were intended to put the Euro twins togehter on the first line. The resulting chemistry of Hossa, Franzen, and Flip just shows we have too many ways to win to be stopped. 2. Attacking Hiller's stick side reminds me of how we solved Mason in the BJ series. Hiller is solved. The Ducks MUST adjust. Playing Giguere, their current #2, is not likely to win a series. 3. Cleary, Helm and Erickson have added an energy that is serving to wear out the Ducks. Add Pavel to that mix. Pavel is not scoring, but is dealing fits to the Ducks anyway. 4. My faith in Flip was not misbegotten. 5. Just imagine what happens when Rafalski is added to this mix. Just a few thoughts.

Did anyone see that dead duck someone threw on the ice? It looked like it was inside out or something.
