Ladd's a gamer for sure, but I just can't see him coming here. I still feel like the only moves will be a 4th line grinder/enforcer and a steady 6th defenseman.

I'd like to see Miller go, Ritola sent down (or plucked off waivers) and an enforcer type player signed. He and Draper can share ice time.

As scary as Boogaard is, I think the team would much rather have a guy who fights less and does more. I'd think that one of Asham, Nystrom or Winchester is much more likely.

I'm not going to complain about not getting a defenseman (I did enough about Sheahan), but it'd still be nice for them to take a big body with their 7th rounder. I really like the Pukkinen pick; if he stays healthy he's a huge steal. Not sure about Aubrey, as it seems like guys from the Q have crapped out for us in the past a bit. If Jarnkrok can fill out, I see him being a pretty good player. Also, I really like that we're getting so many right-handed shots. It gives teams some different looks when you mix it up like that.

Well I never said he was Abdelkader, but I'm assuming someone else did. I just don't see why they would pass on a bigger d-man (Tinordi or Merrill) and a skilled forward (Etem, Kabanov or Kuznetsov) for Sheahan. Reports I've read, not my opinion, made me think it's not exactly the best pick. Like I said, if I'm wrong I'll eat crow.
