Babcock said it's been the most consistent goaltending since HE has been here... which is since 2005. I don't know why anyone's bringing up 1998, because that would be out of context. In the past 5 years, this is easily the most consistent goaltending in Detroit considering everything the team has gone through this year.

Let's doooo it. To be honest, the talent pool for the Red Wings is a bit lacking in terms of guys who will have an offensive impact in the NHL. Adding someone who looks good in a tournament with many NHL players is a good thing.

I was mad at little Hudler once, now I want him to come back. I think/hope he and Fil could develop some chemistry for next year. That would be cool. -
Just google "dobber hockey line combinations". It's a really good site for fantasy stats, but I usually use it for NHL 10 lines. I'm a nerd when it comes to hockey video games.

I ripped on Samuelsson for most of his career, calling him the Red Wings Killer and Shin Pad Assassin, but he's sure turned out to be a good player. Sheesh.

I almost feel like the year is a wash for Big E... I think he lost his confidence early, and just went downhill from there. It's hard for him to make ground now, but I feel like if he gets to spend the year with Lils as his partner (next season) he could improve mightily. I just wonder if his confidence is shot for this season.
