I read more of your posts to find a huge falacious touting idiot who spends too much time clouting about the only thing keeping him happy. Hopefully this reply finds you smugly appreciating yourself for all the specific useless information you've attained. You know, this was actually pretty hilarious to find you clambering on to this thread to keep yourself amused. I'm sure the fun will eventually wear out in a couple of weeks. Don't worry though, I'll continue to keep my opinion of what s*** the NHL is at this point. I've been watching hockey for a very long time to know what is push and what isn't, and I guess you either work for them or would like too. That might be your calling if you haven't tried to snuggle some hairy orbs already. And the great for thinking part was enlightening for such a small bulb.... keep up the good work! Go Wings.

Hi Shoreline, As is typical, the shoreline is usually clear to discern. Unfortunately your user name isn't exactly what I expect from someone who claims to have an idea, or in this case the opposite. The Wings were clearly beaten in 2 games in the series Game 4 and Game 7. But, the reality check is that the NHL was more than willing to accomodate hitting, pushing, holding, boarding and interference for the Pens when it was at critical junctures for the other victories. Moreover the Wings were penalized in all the games when it seemed like the push could be too great, or the momentum could swing the entire series in Detroit's favor. The only real strength the Pens could muster most of the time was on the PP. So, what better way to kill Detroit's momentum when the time was right. How can a team like the Penguins believe that the NHL, and that freak show of a Commissioner wasn't backing that team. It's a complete farse. So, here are a couple of goodies to stick in the sand by the shore. 1. Shifting from the 7 game series from Anaheim, the league was more than willing to hurry the SCF along without the typical waiting period of the 3 days. In this case only 2. 2. Why would the NHL decide to carry the first 2 games Back-to-Back (first time in 52 some odd years), and yes you will say it's the NBC ticket, but it all seems too coincidental to me. 3. The monstrous "NO" calls during the series against Detroit.... Too Many Men, etc.. Did it ever happen to the Pens?? No! 4. When game 5 seemed to get out of hand because the Pens were vicious and out of control, where were the game suspensions. As these were given to other teams earlier in the playoffs....hmmmmm. Again nothing from the league office... hmmmm. These are just a few of the items that I can recall from the series, but I bet if i watched the horror show again i would find plenty more to say. So, when an outsider takes a look at the series from a non-biased position and claims that something seems wrong, well I guess we're all use seeing Detroit manipulated from the league over that past years. You can say what you want, when you feel like your running up hill all the time, it tends to reason that you would eventually tire out. Our team is special, we tend to look to ourselves because we are losing, unlike the other said team that likes to cheap shot and intend to injure when the time is right. The Pens were lead by the hand by the league. The Wings are classy and as good as there has ever been in the league. I will miss them, as I will not watch any more NHL until Bettman is GONE!!! Go Wings!

Actually I love the Wings, and well I get sick of bad calls by the league. I would like to see consistency in the calls, but I don't think the NHL is truly honest. So, without the honesy play from the league, I cannot continue to be a fan of this league. I love the Wings, but until Gary Bettman is gone.... so am I, Good luck Wings. See you again when Bettman is gone. Fan Since 1975.... no bandwagoner here. Go Wings.

Now all you wings fans know why I was so f***ED UP after game 6.... Ahhhh you baby this and awwww you baby that! That's because Pittsburg is better at "in cheating" than Detroit is! Wow, the cheap shots and nasty play for the last 2 games and the NHL allowing the play to continue. Why doesn't the league get investigated for racketeering and fallacious involvement, including "Rico statues organized crime" to put the end of Bettman's reign and put his ass in prison. Wow, I wish the Wings would've won in 4 last year so we could get this over with by the 5th game. Who wants to see the flagship team crushed in the same manner as last year? Certainly not the NHL. The NHL wants to cuddle this team and not destroy their spirit. But, it comes to my attention that they will be over in Detroit, and well, how can the NHL continue to try and stop the best team in hockey since 1996-98. Hey, the only way is to try and gut it! f*** Bettman, he certainly wants to promote this s***ty ass team. Sure watch him increase the salary cap.... what a ******* laugher!!! I wish I could get a live Radio (Ken Cal...) feed without the delay for tonights game. Being in San Diego, there is too much of a delay over the internet! The announcers for the NHL are frankly, "s***TY!!" and completely biased. The mute will be on tonight with the Neighborhood listwening to KISS.... "Detroit Rock City!!!! Go Wings!!!

Honestly, I love this hockey, it's better to be beat with good play than to believe that we were robbed by the Ref's...! Hey, plain and simple, the Wings lost composure and let the Pens start their quick turn and burn Offense which turned into points. You cannot expect Ozzy to stop every freakin goal when the stars are there! If you cannot get the facts correct, or accept them, put the computer down tonight and go to bed. There is a 3rd period. do we get better or worse. Unfortunately I have to believe the latter of the two. Hey, I'm a born and bred Michigander, but I love a good hockey game like this!! WOW!!! I'll be attending game 4 section 301 at the Honda Center. I'm very nervous about the game tonight, as I hope the Wings can put that 3ot loss behind them. They've been able to do it before, so I hope a tough team shows themselves tonight because the Ducks will be ready for blood in any case. Seriously, why have the Wings decided to wait to see if the Ducks will self-terminate themselves with penalties and gregarious team inefficiency. Well, they are waiting around like the Wings, playing good "D", cutting off the outlet passing, forcing bad red line passing, which kills the Wings momentum and puck possession, and their coach is expecting the Wings to do the previously mentioned self-termination. Come to our rescue Mike Babcock, stick a "Big Toe" in some asses!!

If you like a 1-line team than the deal is bad. If you like long term stability and a power forward, than the deal is good. As always, the Red Wings have found a diamond in the rough and have polished and shined it, why sell it. Ken Holland, you are brilliant and honest.

Agree, the readiness of the team is the one crucial point for the first opponent. My only concern is the ability to lose the first game because of necrosis or pectizable performance, while disabling the reality that this team is the best in hockey. Enough said, Red Wings are the best in the league, can they put it on the ice…Mike Babcock thinks so.
