    Repercussions of Weber headslam

he hasn't been legitimate since he gave smith 7 games or w/e for a clean hit and wisniewki that 8 gamer for a love tap. And the 3 gamer for Fistric for a clean hit and sutton 7 games for nothing, and like 3 others for nothing.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

No I am saying it isn't as bad as people are making it out to be, not acceptable. Nobody is saying it is acceptable.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

when am i saying it is part of hockey? And there should be no tolerance for it but it wasn't some kind of mega cheapshot. You guys and your fallacies... im not, just giving it to them anyways.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

stuart threw multiple rabbit punches this game after he was frustrated after penalty no calls, it happens, the head slam doesn't but then again it wasn't a hard head slam.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

the punch was bad but that stuff happens all the time in the corners, there was a TON of crosschecking going on in this game. and there are varying degrees of "attempt to injure". Some people here think that if there was ANY kind of intent it should automatically be 6 games or something like that.

so you were assuming something? I repeated like 40 times that it wasn't hard, but it was stupid. It isn't hard to interpret, except for overreacting sports fans.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

it wasn't attempt to egregiously injure, just rough up, but I never said he shouldn't be suspended did I? Fallacies...

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

how does that kill my point? and what does suspension worthy have to do with killing my point? Some people on here were using a fallacy on me including you apparently.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

Really? you are the one being irrational, I doubt you have played the game with any type of intestinal fortitude let alone play the game at all. You are creating a fallacy with my argument saying that I am some how condoning the play. It wasn't a hard hit, zetterberg sold it, most importantly it was extremely goon like and unnecessary and I won't reiterate this stuff to you again, you obviously are just being belligerent and want to think weber was out to murder z. the earpiece was ripped, big deal

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

Z did get him in the back of the neck, but that shouldn't warrant weber's reaction.
  15. jollymania

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

It was stupid, but people here are irrational with how dangerous the play actually was.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

he was just roughing it up at the end of the game, it happens. It was obviously an attempt at intimidation and possible injury. If he wasn't walking the thin line he would have nearly killed z.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

I have been in the same situation as zetterberg, getting your face smudged on the glass isn't fun but it isn't life altering like some people here think. All I am saying is that it wasn't that hard, can that make it through your skull?

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

if weber would have connected with anything of extreme malice he would have koed z and sent him off on a stretcher. It is a plain and simple concept that some people here don't understand.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

no, when did I imply that? or are you blind? it was the same thing but about 100x harder, weber knows that there is a different culture nowadays which is why he didn't use a ton of force.

i never said it was okay did i? or are you blind?

I dk, he didn't react right away which makes me think it wasn't too serious.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

All I am saying is it was goon like behavior and wasn't that hard. Never said it wasn't a big deal, just saying it wasn't a richter-scale play, just really stupid and goon-like.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

it was on a hit, not a fight, weber missed a decent amount of games.
  24. jollymania

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

he didn't smash his head against the glass, it jsut wasn't hard and he sold the injury, he wasn't injured.

Shea Weber fined for Zetterberg "headslam"

it wasn't that hard, if weber really hit him z would be done. Fistric hammered weber this year and gave him a concussion
