Recently I think Fiddler is becoming a huge pest, and him and burish were on fire last night. Recently Fiddler had the bieksa taunting incident, got vielleux to come of the bench after him a few days ago, and last night was in the middle of the big ruckus. Last night Burish got in pavelec's face and started a scrum and threw tanner glass's glove up into the stands. The stars are shaping up to be just a terrible team to play against in the playoffs.

I think it has hurt White the most, i think his play was dependent on Lids, other than that our d hasn't been too bad aside from Janik just being Janik and smith's rookie factor. I think white needs to be more physical, maybe he is injured or something but he hasn't thrown a hipcheck in a long long time, hopefully it magically shows up in the playoffs when we need every guy to be a physical beast besides lids. I think Quincey needs to step up the physicality as well as stuart, he has been relatively quiet this year, hopefully jut saving himself for the playoffs.

Smith absolutely rocked fraser so it is definitely wrong. NHL.com lists it as a hit for fraser which it was technically but he got his ass handed to him.

That is an example of a hit that is clearly dirty, unlike some of them that have gotten suspensions this year.

Radulov, Kostitsyn bros, and Erat would all shut up pretty quickly if stuey or kronner laid some big hits early int he series.

Well Rinne hasn't proven too much in the playoffs. I would say right now the scariest goalie is Halak, considering he singlehandedly beat the pens and caps with ovi and crosby healthy. Of course Byzgalov had an amazing streak with the Ducks that one year, then faltered in later years. I don't think LA would ever be a threat if they made it in, Quick is good, but their team as a whole is just horribly underachieving and don't look to be making any progress.

same here, right now they are simply playing better than the wings, and they definitively have better goaltending and possibly better coaching. Put those 2 together and it almost doesn't matter what kind of defense and offense you have. I don't know what else to say but try running their goalies. Some people act like these guys are just going to magically keel over. Remember what Halak did int he playoffs 2 years ago? If anything we haven't even seen his best this year which is scary. And stl is built for the playoffs, lots of physical players sprinkled through their lineup.

i mean in general, if you say anything like " i think kronwall is gonna crush someone tonight" they will give you a warning, tsn does the same thing. When we played the canucks i wrote "I think kronwall will catch booth tonight" and they refused to publish it.

The thing about ott is he starts to agitate guys at the worst possible times for the opponent. Right when he knows they are going to be easily pissed off. He also will go and hammer someone, get chased around, hammer the same guy then go after the guy chasing him with a big hit, then skate off the ice. This is perfection for pissing guys off and doing it legally. Ott tries to draw penalties but he usually does it in this sort of comedic way that doesn't seem like he is serious, whereas when you see kesler or burrows, or kaleta or tootoo dive they all are brutally serious about it to the point when you have to say are you really a hockey player? kaleta is less of an agitator and more of a player who just dives a ton and throws a lot of cheapshots, which is agitating, but more reprehensible.

in general hf boards if very anti-hitting if you have any attitude that hockey should be tough you can bet your ass you will be warned about "being mean to others".
