    The Abdelkader hate

for one he koed Martinek for a year with a big hit this year and has had several others. Abdelkader has had a few nice hits most most of his hits are just rub outs. Helm is a better puck handler and better at ragging the puck, he is tougher in the corners. He should be scoring more but I feel like he is snake bitten. Abdelkader doesn't fill his role as good as he could, if he started to fight regularly and destroy someone night in and night out then people would accept him more, he isn't playing to his potential. nobody hates him, my rational or 'basis' was that people expect more which is absolutely correct, he should be like ott but clearly isn't. Helm is a better hitter, I would like to think you know i pay more attention to these things. Miller hasn't been as good in the past as he is this year so you can't really use his playoff performances in his current play.

    The Abdelkader hate

helm is a far better hitter and all around player and miller has been clutch all year, abdelkader really is like a poor mans ott or clutterbuck, if he wants people to pay attention to him he has to go all out.

    Red Wings Alumni lineup

why brown? I liked him but he was just another player during the wings cup runs and didn't even really play that many nhl seasons.

How WC tickets will be sold

yes, i am sure , unless they make tickets like 1000 buck each for even the highest and lowest seats then only leafs fans who are used to ridiculous pricing would buy tickets. Like other people have said just outside of detroit there are a ton of communities with more than enough to spend on these things, and the same demand.

How WC tickets will be sold

well if they aren't within a certain distance they will need hotels, then factor in restaurants, entertainment on the days surrounding the game, there are a whole slew of factors. The size of the SO market will determine the merchandise sales, ect.. but for the people attending the game it doesn't really matter where they are from, since the wings are the home team it would be preferable to get more wings fans, specifically those form the local market into the stadium. Once in the stadium they aren't oing to buy any more or less than leafs fans from SO.

How WC tickets will be sold

they could easily sell all 110,000 tickets to red wings fans, it has nothing to do with leafs or wings fans, the tickets will be sold, it is a simple concept.

How WC tickets will be sold

A ticket sale is a ticket sale, it doesn't matter where the sale comes from. The merchandise is all online so that doesn't matte. I think the NHL really could care less where the tickets sales come from. It is more Ilitich. He will obviously want to see a draw from Ontario form a tourist perspective but also reward the people near the city of Detroit.

How WC tickets will be sold

well lets e realistic, the demand is ridiculous for this, i would say up to a million would consider or are planning on trying to realistically attend, if not more. I think they will bring in enough people from ontario to satisfy the tourist factor and can ive the people of metro detroit the rest. I don't live in detroit anymore so it wouldn't help me but at the same time I think it is fiar.

How WC tickets will be sold

i wish think they should split it up and give a majority to people in michigan, then let the rest be for all.

What the F has gotten into these wings?

i think if anyone it helps kronwall because not only is he a non-fighter he also isn't as tough as our other guys, like datsyuk you could have him out there with chara, weber, eager, cooke, and kaleta on the ice with no protection and he would just go about his daily business.

    Toughening Up?

im not sure, maybe ericsson paired with andersson and a pick? im no good at actually making trade proposals, just looking at what I want and think the tea needs. I think Morrow would have a greater impact than drake.

    Dreger's mailbag

    Toughening Up?

but he doesn't throw massive hits, fight, and isn't a leader

    Toughening Up?

morrow has hit 30 goals twice and had 33 last year, grabovski has yet to score 30 but has more upside offensively one would think, but if you add in all of the other factors that morrow has it adds up to morrow being a much more valuable player to this team
