im just saying, if they do make a hit they will be gone. Surprising enough though kronwall has left his feet twice this year, once on a hit on cullen, and once on a hit on staubitz, neither were looked at simply because the guys had their heads up and avoided most of it. guys rarely hit like that in the past, but there were instances in the old nhl where you could do a leaping elbow on a guy and only get 2 minutes. I will take an explosive clena hit over a leaping elbow nay day. The problem is now people seem to thing standard hitting is dirtier than a cheapshot. Just look at the Marchand slew foot form a few games ago. All he got was a 2 minute penalty for what should have been a 5 game suspension at least if you give fistric 3.

exactly, these hits are fun to watch but the nhl is getting increasingly stringent with it and it is increasing at a far rapid pace than it ever did.

the problem is fistric got suspended 3 games for a hit not as bad.

Should phaneuf have been suspended. His hit clearly concussed Sauer. In the fistric one the ice might have caused the concussion rather than the shoulder contact.

kronwalls feet go higher on the kaleta hit FFS, you could say it with a ton of kronwall hits

i also posted a slow mo hd video of the hit that clearly showed it, you are just wrong on this one, sorry. he shows a frame after he made contact and freezes it. The second part applies to stuart and kronwall.

fistric had both feet on the ice at contact making your argument that much more ridiculous. The reverse angle in teh shanahan video show both feet on the ice at contact. Furthermore, Shanahan says that the act of leaving the feet, and not leaving hte feet before contact is the reason for the suspension.

stuart and kronwall both left thier feet on those hits, those are now illegal, both players hit this way frequently, or are you blind? Or do you not care that the wings will stop hitting/be suspended if they do?

I'm not searching for attention. you really don't get it to you, deathcheck is a term used to describe a big hit, did it just fly over your head? a check is a play in hockey that involves one player hitting another, but I understand how you read it, but still...
