Commodore has been garbage, even when you only play 6 minutes you have to play your role and add a physical presence. He even has some useless PIMS.

Scott Stevens was known to do it. It isn't really cheap at all. I agree with that it seemed to be more of a ***** play than anything, but throwing a hipcheck there is fine, this was just terribly executed. here is lindros doing it to chara, nothing wrong with it And that clip is a real hockey battle, the finn vs swede clip was not.

The play itself wasn't dirty imo, but that has too be one of the poorest-executed hipchecks I have ever seen.

I am also aware that a simple headache can be considered a concussion according to NHL standards. At any rate millers injury should have no bearing on a suspension, yet that seems to be the case.
