Boarding is far too of an ambiguous penalty, in this case it was just an unfortunate situation, they should have rescinded the major as it really is only enough to warrant 2 minutes at most, although in reality it was perfectly clean, but I guess in today's game you have to call something -
The best thing to do is go on beer advocate and trade for a bottle or two. MAKE SURE IT IS FRESH, like no older than a month old.

brown aimed for shoulder and hit shoulder, how is that targeting the head and how do you know he was targeting it, that should be removed from the rule, it is far too ambiguous.

i think most people who argue against keeping your head up have never played the game, if you so much as simply have your head up at all times you will get hit 90% less or even more than that, personally when i played I went after guys whether they were looking at me with their head up or not, but if a guy was paying attention 90% of the time I ended up with an elbow or a missed hit fixed it for ya

how? if it is the wrong call, it is the wrong call, the kings got shafted by losing their captain for half of the game because of the poor call on the ice

the cooke hit and probably the richards hit were the only two that should apply to this rule, i think it should only apply to hit where 100% contact to the head is made, so far the Cooke one is the only one where that has occurred.
