take the decision away form the refs, they have already shown in this hit and the letang one that they are too incompetent to call this particular play at game speed

all of the contact is made to shoulder, youre seeing things as we know it, as in if normal hits are penalized we are in trouble maybe the edge of miettinen's chinny chin chin was brushed but it looks like pure shoulder to shoulder just look at the angle that miettinen's head goes, it is unrelated to brown's shoulder, while the shoulder of miettinen mirrors it perfectly this picture shows where primary contact was made

in the video you can see the shoulder contacted, i conveniently posted an arrow in the video as well to point out th e#s on the jersey, if you look closely his head snaps back before brown's shoulder hits it

there doesn't appear to be any head contact, and if any very little, it was shoulder to shoulder

Hockey hits hurt more and hockey players are tougher, but i dk about the force of a 400lb turkey gobbler with muscle falling on you being less than a hockey hit. That being said, guys like stevens and sutton probably win the argument for hockey, they have the size of football players but are on ice.

why? maybe it is just a natural motion for him, that arm never nails the other guy during hits

the elbowing motion was moot, the hit was with the shoulder, kronwall always throws his arm out on hits like that, it is clearly not an elbow

i have an oakley visor and it works pretty well, it only blocks a tiny bit of my peripheral vision, i have had it for 3 years and it isn't scratched up yet, the only time i am glad i had it was when a goalie punched me in the face with his blocker, in which case my face was spared thanks to the visor
