well aventinus and corsendonk are both ales, but i still don't see much similarities besides that they are dark ales, i might have to revisit corsendonk though sometimes the belgian darks have some clove and banana est flavors in them ala aventinus.
-
I think the flavor is more concentrated in the eisbock, it is aso the best value, only 3.75 where i shop Corsendonk and trois aren't anything like doppelbocks really i don't think but they are solid belgian-styled ales ive had kulmbacher, not as good, ive also had michigan favorite kuhnhenn's, that was good, a beer aroudn here, capital makes one too, not really that great. stones black ipa is their WORST product, IPA or ruination please
-
ive had the edel weiss fresh from bottle, enjoyed it alot, of course my favorite beer of all time is Aventinus Eisbock, i hear it comes in on cask every so once in a while, but don't let me get ahold of that or i might spontaneously combust with joy
-
It is all about freshness I guess, I can never find scnheider weiss fresh, though i think their aventinus is the best of any wheat beer, Im going to Germany for a few months next spring and I know I'll make a better decision then on the standard hefweeizens cause they will all be super fresh. Another good wiessbeer: Mahr's Saphir Weiss

it is important, yes, but very few guys make a name for themselves by "clearing the crease" and tbh pretty much all defensemen are taught to do this and do do it regularly
-
is crease clearing really THAT important? And do you really pay attention to players who "clear the crease" because it seems like something that 99% of people would ignore
-
im not putting down Hnidy, they are similar players but salei has done much more with his career, and Hnidy is NOT that physical of a guy HITS 08-09 (salei played 5 more games): Salei Hnidy 107 47 Double for salei hnidy - 4 fights last year, wow those 4 fights (3 losses and a draw) would really make a difference
-
hnidy isn't some bad ass guy you know
-
same age, salei has done more in his career, you cant say hnidy would have been better
-
at my store you can get licher or warsteiner for less than coors light and way less than becks or heineken, licher or warsteiner aren't' the greatest beers but they are at least better than the more expensive ones that sell more, btw Warsteiner is pavel's fav beer

HAd one of these today, it was spectacular:
-
Wiehenstephaner Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier is the best light wheat beer (witbier/american pale wheat/hefe/ect...) Period, the ultimate summer brew (next to Hofbraeu Dunkel) exactly, sheepish people buy it for the marketing
-
sounds like the article says around 20,000
-
Curt Fraser will take him in GR if need be lol

new lists on beer advocate http://beeradvocate.com/lists/top top 100 worst beers of all time: http://beeradvocate.com/lists/bottom note: this is about readily available beers, the beers have to have at least 1000 reviews for the top 100 and at least 100 reviews for the bottom
-
hopefully the bonus is if salei plays 50+ games or more
-
you missed meyer, probably better than all of those guys, Im guessing Babcock had a say in the salei signing
-
not initially but if he doesn't pan out i could see him getting waived
-
Salei is getting up there, but if he signed for cheap he can be worth it, he has had some serious injury problems, but then again so has willie mitchell

any brewery that puts their beer into brown bottles or cans does it to prevent skunking, some belgian brewers use the green bottles for show such as Saison DuPont never buy a green bottle saison dupont, always go for the brown one, it is night and day. Same with becks, heineken is such a poor beer as it is that the can doesn't really save it. Other belgian beers such as the lambics don't really need a brown bottle because they are naturally funky.
-
Krajicek actually has been known to throw some pretty nice hipchecks, though not often enough
-
for heineken bottle = skunked can = not skunked, i'm assuming you were drinking from bottle
-
the SA oktoberfest is not hoppy at all to me, I am someone who can drink one of those maltless west-coast ipas like water. Most of what i was getting as feedback was cooked veggies for it as a complaint. None of the Oktoberfest beers are hoppy, I almost forgot as well my favorite Maerzen brew: Steigl Goldbrau hopefully from a can

everything is mindblowingly retarded besides maybe the bench area thing for too many men calls and the verification line on the goal line (if it somehow helped)
