lol i know.... bs
-
considering pronger hadn't touched the puck he probably wasn't expecting that kind of force
-
Sutton as the 5th, there might need to be a trade
-
lol why? because i pick on worthless players?
-
he had a promising junior career, the hawks are front loaded, they had to have some useless grinders on the 4th line
-
because he doesn't even belong in the NHL
-
because he doesn't jsut fight half the game is challenging guys like leino and running away form guys like a princess you say the same stupid things in every thread, you have some kind of ego. HE is willing to fight, he is tough in that regard, but that doesn't make him tougher than other guys who show toughness in other ways, fighting is only one way to show toughness, not the only way, you seem to think it is. Eager would scamper off the ice in that situation. OVERALL he is not a tough player, especially for being a fighter, and he sucks at the sport of hockey, he is the epitome of what Holland doesn't want on his team.
-
Eager has probably 2 minutes of total fiht time this year, out of how many hours he has lived? pronger rarely fights he must not be tough, you fail I never said goal scorers are automatically tough, as a fighter eager is a flying ******, and just because he fights more than other guys doesn't make him any tougher. And in today's nhl more punches miss than land. And yes, i have been in a hockey fight before.
-
and eager, while being a fighter is not tough, it is really not hard concept to follow
-
sutton is the only guy you cna throw money at solely for his hitting, he is up there with scott stevens after that hit on leopold
-
hnidy would be alright if the price is right
-
any one watching the game, that shift was the definition of eager fail
-
yeah, it is a weak crop this year
-
Eager just honestly challenged leino to a fight Asham doesn't run around liek a pansy, he backchecks, roughs it up in the corners, wins more fights, and doens't back down, asham has already challenge eager a few times in this series team toughness = team being tough not datsyuk fighitng toughness does not equal hockey toughness, is it htat hard to understand? You can be tough but not fight regularily
-
well with that price it would be hard, if we can somehow fanagle sutton into the roster it would be perfect imo, 3 of the nhl's top 10 hitters in the backend, two guys over 6'4 coliaccovo woudl eb good if he took an injury paycut, he gets injured every other game
-
i understand the price point is low, but erskine is worth league minnimum
-
Sutton, Seidenberg, Lilja, i don't have a list of FA damn in front of me, Sutton would be my first choice since he is my fav player in the league and don't say anyone hits harder than him
-
i never said lebda would be a better option, overall erskine would be a poor option, he sucks
-
you asked me who would be a better option, i say erskine
-
Erskine or lebda? well at least erskine can look mean so id say him.
-
I have, find me of a relevant fight or hit that he has made int he last 3 years, he is about as good defensively as brett lebda or brent sopel
-
Erskine sucks pretty horribly, he isn't very physical either. Erskine is worth about as much as lebda
-
Seidenberg is indeed pretty physical,Volchenkov would be pricier, Sutton would be a good one, he is slightly more expensive than seidenberg though coming off a season with this: Who knows, maybe sutton would be landable, and the Wings D would look like one of the tougher, more physical ones in the league.
