  1. I realize I'm trolling here, but please don't make fun of Hitchcock's weight. If you knew how it all started you would realize its no laughing matter. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/hockey/nh...tars_hitchcock/

Questions from a Blue Jackets fan...

Thanks to everyone for all your help. I have decided on the following: I am not going to park at the JLA Garage because of price and trouble exiting. I am not going to park near Hockeytown Cafe or at the Greektown lot because I don't want to have to struggle getting on the people mover after the game. By looking at this map (http://www.cobocenter.com/parking_parking_map.php) I have decided to park at eaither the COBO HALL GARAGE or the COBO ROOF DECK. Which is better? Easier to get out? Cheaper? Tanks oen final time...

Questions from a Blue Jackets fan...

Thanks for all of your help. I am familiar with the area, as I've been to the Joe the past 2 years for the CCHA Final 4 and a couple of Blue Jacekts games - Detroit isn't as bad as some people make it seem... I've always parked in the Joe Louis garage just because of the convenience and unfamiliarity with the area. I think parking at the Greektown Casino is off - sounds like too much of a hassel to validate a ticket. As for Hockeytown Cafe parking, are you referring to the Fox Theatre parking lot? That lot is $10? I'd rather not have to try to jam into a shuttle after the game since I have a 3 - 3.5 hour drive ahead of me and would like to get out as soon as possible... If I do park anywhere other than the Joe Louis garage, how jam-packed is the people mover following a game? Is it possible to get on it fairly quickly? How is the parking on top of Cobo Hall accessed? What is the price? Again, I appreciate your help.

Questions from a Blue Jackets fan...

I come in peace I'll be coming up to Detroit for game 2 and was wondering if you could tell me when the Joe Louis parking garage would open for a 6:00 game. Also, I've been told that parking at the Greektown Casino's lot is free and is a good idea since the people mover connects it to the Joe - would you guys reccomend this? Finally, how soon before a game does the Joe open its doors to fans? Thanks for your help, and here's to a great, hard-fought series!
