Not only did they do Nashville a favor, the loss almost means SJS clinched and I was REALLY hoping they would be on the outside looking in. Still have a bitter taste in my mouth. -

Ericsson has never been nearly as bad as the forum goers here make him out to be. LGWers just need their scape goat and right now Cleary and Holmstrom have taken that role. Anyway I've always liked E and I think he's a decent defender. He's no Lidstrom but he isn't paid to be him. -

So I was thinking about this for the last few days. How far do the Wings have to go for it to be a successful season? On one hand a lot of teams consider making the playoffs a success. And others have fans who demand a championship. So where does everyone else fit on this? Personally, I think we have to make it to the conference finals because I think our tradition and our talent dictates that we go deep. What about you guys? What do you think this year?

Just think about it like this. There's 3 top seeded division winners, and then 5 wild cards. they are than ranked in their own respective categories while staying separate from the other. Than combined at the end.
